Review by hotel critic
I recently stayed at Motel L'Avantage and was astounded by the exceptional cleanliness of the room, with a beautiful vinyl floor that mimicked the look of wood, offering a touch of elegance. The convenient location, directly accessible to the charming beach at Lake St Jean, provided me with a serene escape, and the presence of a well-maintained bike path right outside was a delightful bonus for my morning rides. The friendly and attentive staff ensured my comfort at all hours, demonstrating a level of hospitality that truly set this motel apart. The complimentary toiletries, including wall-mounted soap and shampoo dispensers, added a thoughtful touch to the already impressive amenities provided. I am already looking forward to my next stay at this gem by the lake and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful and picturesque retreat in Canada's stunning wilderness.
